Partnership Documents

The Green Power Communities Brochure provides basic information about GPP's Green Power Communities (GPCs). The four-page brochure includes information about how to become a GPC, the benefits of procuring green power, and examples of how current GPCs are using green power to fight climate change and meet environmental and sustainability goals.

The Green Power Partner Partnership Agreement (XLS)(2 pp, 489 K) is the form that a community's authorized official must complete and email to EPA to join the Partnership. Community Partners need to provide contact information, as well as information on community-wide electricity use and collective voluntary green power use.

Please note that the municipal government must join the Partnership prior to the community joining as a GPC. The municipal government must meet all requirements outlined in the standard Partnership Agreement and submit the Agreement to EPA. Learn more about GPP's Partnership Requirements.

Also, please note that in response to the automated message that appears upon opening the Partnership Agreement, you will need to enable macros (the macro contained in the file is safe and has been third-party verified).

The Green Power Community Yearly Reporting Form (XLS)(1 pg, 496 K) is a form that Green Power Communities can use to update their community-wide green power usage information. Communities will receive a Green Power Community Yearly Report from their assigned account manager on the anniversary of their partnership or the anniversary date of their last purchase data update, whichever is most recent. The report will include the community-wide green power use information on record—communities need only confirm or update the information. Please note, in response to the automated message that appears upon opening the Yearly Report, you will need to enable macros (the macro contained in the file is safe and has been third-party verified).

The EPA Green Power Community Road Signs: Use & Reproduction Guidelines provides guidance on the correct use and display of EPA Green Power Community road signs. This document also includes sign reproduction guidelines, should a community wish to reproduce signs for additional display within the boundaries of the municipality.
