Green Power Partnership

Green Power Communities

Leading local governments across the nation are partnering with EPA to become Green Power Communities (GPCs). GPCs are towns, villages, cities, counties, or tribal governments in which the local government, businesses, and residents collectively use green power in amounts that meet or exceed EPA's Green Power Community usage requirements.

Green Power Community Rankings

Since EPA tracks and reports the Green Power Communities collective green power use and green power percentage of total electricity use, it ranks GPCs according to these same two categories: total green power usage and percentage of green power used.

EPA will update its Green Power Community Rankings quarterly, along with its other Top Partner lists.
