EPA has signed an Action Memo for the Gold King Mine release. The Action provides the basis for taking a response action at the Gold King Mine and applies only to the release on August 5, 2015, from the Gold King Mine. The Action Memo further describes the response actions and provides a cost estimate and authorization to expend agency funds for the response.
