An organization must have a systematic process for identifying and correcting compliance and EMS-conformance deficiencies. In addition, an organization must have a similar process for identifying potential deficiencies and correcting them before they become a problem. Most deficiencies are discovered during the audit process and corrected using the corrective and preventive action process.
Region 7 has developed a systematic process for tracking and correcting compliance and conformance deficiencies from discovery through closure. If you have questions about the Region's checking and corrective action process, please contact the Region 7 Interim EMS Coordinator, David Pratt.
