Historical List of EPA Certified Wood Heaters

Listed below is a historical list of wood heaters that EPA certified under the 1988 New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) Standards of Performance for Residential Wood Heaters, as of April 2015.  The historical list contains the manufacturer’s name, model name, emission rate (g/hr), heat output (btu/hr), efficiency (actual measured and EPA default), and appliance type for each previously certified wood heater.

This Historical List of EPA Certified Woodheaters is provided for informational purposes only and should not be referenced to determine compliance with the 2015 New Source Performance Standard (NSPS) for New Residential Wood Heaters, New Residential Hydronic Heaters and Forced-Air Furnaces at 40 CFR Part 60 (Subpart AAA).  Some of the models listed do not meet the current 4.5 g/hr particulate matter emissions limit or are no longer recognized by EPA as a certified wood heater.  Such wood heaters are not in compliance with the 2015 NSPS and may no longer be manufactured for sale in the United States.
