The information documented in the Business Rules will be used for three important purposes:

1. to provide all users of the Air Facility System (AFS) with a guide for the interpretation of data fields
2. to complete a Closeness of Fit Analysis (COFA) with the Integrated Compliance Information System (ICIS) in a modernization effort
3. to further integration with the Agency’s multi-media information in systems like the Online Targeting and Information System (OTIS) and the Enforcement Compliance History Online (ECHO) system
