What brought you to EPA?
I initially came to EPA in 2005 to serve as a technical contractor on a project to transfer our payroll system to a new service.
What type of work do you do at EPA?
Primarily, I ensure that our human resources and payroll systems meet federal requirements. I also manage efforts to support contracts, interagency agreements, and systems, while ensuring that confidential or personal information is protected.
What is your highest level of education? What was your major?
I have a masters in business administration and health care administration.
What message would you like to send other Black/African Americans who are considering college or a career in environmental protection?
Increasing your awareness and knowledge of environmental protection is a rewarding experience. By pursuing an education, you can later follow various career paths that will allow you to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Through a wide variety of fields in the sciences, public health, economics, and law, you can protect the environment and have a life-changing experience for all.
