2016 Grant Awards

EPA Brownfields Grants – Nearly $16 million to New England Communities
Communities across New England will receive nearly $16 million from EPA to help revitalize former industrial and commercial sites, transforming them from abandoned and blighted properties into community assets. The communities are being awarded funding under EPA's Brownfields program after being selected in a competitive national competition.

2016 Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) Supplemental Funding – Nearly $2.6 million to New England Communities
EPA has announced grants of nearly $2.6 million in RLF supplemental funding for communities in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Vermont to carry out cleanup and redevelopment projects at contaminated brownfields properties. The projects will help communities create jobs while protecting people's health and the environment.

Communities in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont will receive additional grants of $4.3 million in revolving loan fund (RLF) supplemental funding to carry out cleanup and redevelopment projects at contaminated brownfields properties.
