Additional Benchmark Dose Software (BMDS) Related Model Documentation & Downloads

The BMDS User Manual contains detailed information on the BMDS models, including their formulae, parameters, special options, and BMD and BMDL computations. The BMDS User Manual is a PDF version of the BMDS online help; you can find it in the BMDS application folder.

This page contains links to more extensive technical background documents or technical guidance for specialized models. It also links to the Multistage Weibull Time-to-Tumor model (and its associated technical information), which is not part of the BMDS model suite and is run outside of BMDS.

Multistage Weibull Time-to-Tumor Software and Documentation

The multistage Weibull (MSW) time-to-tumor model and related documentation were developed principally (but not exclusively) for conducting time-to-tumor analyses to support risk assessments under the IRIS program. These programs and related documentation are made available publicly to insure that the methods and calculations used for such analyses are transparent and reproducible.
