1:30pm – 5:30pm Topics will provide an overview of the data validation process and demonstrations of the tools you can use to identify outliers and mistakes in your datasets. Training will also cover data analysis tools that will help you answer questions regarding the air quality in your area including new web based tools such as DataFed.net, and Air Explorer Data Validation and Analysis Performed by BAAQMD (PDF) (26pp, 247k) Data Validation Overview (PDF) (37pp, 1.0 MB) Federated Data System (DataFed) (PDF) (29pp, 5.2 MB) Data Smack Down (Exploratory Data Analysis) (PDF) (31pp, 1.4 MB) Data Validation Philosophy (PDF) (7pp, 221k) |
1:30pm – 5:30pm This session will provide a detailed review of requirements that monitoring agencies must meet to operate an NCore station by the regulatory deadline of January 1, 2011. The NCore network self-assessment document will be used as a template for this workshop, providing a structure to guide discussions of network design, logistics, methods, and organizational readiness. We will also review and discuss frequently asked NCore-related questions that have been received over the past few years, and provide updates on emerging issues such as PM10-2.5 sampling, ammonia, and lead Status Report: Review of Candidate NCore Sites (PDF) (24pp, 6.1 MB) A Calibration System for Low Range GPT Calibrations of High Sensitivity NOx and Noy Monitors (PDF) (21pp, 263k) NCore Implementation Challenges (PDF) (11pp, 344k) NCore Network Implementation Training (PDF) (13pp, 798k) Your NCore Site is Approved!
