Acute Exposure Guideline Levels (AEGLs) Committee Meeting September 21-23, 2004

A meeting of the National Advisory Committee for Acute Exposure Guideline Levels for Hazardous Substances (NAC/AEGL Committee) was held on September 21-23, 2004, in Washington, DC. At this meeting, the NAC/AEGL Committee addressed various aspects of the acute toxicity and the development of Acute Exposure Guideline Levels (AEGLs) for the following chemicals: 1,1,1- trichloroethane; acetaldehyde; acetone cyanohydrin; chloromethyl methyl ether; cumene; dibromoethane; diketene; disulfur dichloride; ethylene oxide (10 minute AEGL-2 value); hydroxylamine; jet fuel 8; propionaldehyde; propylene oxide; tetranitromethane and vinyl acetate.
