Acute Exposure Guideline Levels (AEGLs) Committee Meeting June 11-13, 2001

A meeting of the National Advisory Committee for Acute Exposure Guideline Levels for Hazardous Substances (NAC/AEGL Committee) was held on June 11-13, 2001, in Washington, DC. At this meeting, the NAC/AEGL Committee addressed various aspects of the acute toxicity and the development of Acute Exposure Guideline Levels (AEGLs) for the following chemicals: Acetone cyanohydrin; Acrylic acid; Allyl alcohol; Boron trichloride; Boron trifluoride compound with methyl ether (1:1); Carbon monoxide; Chlorine dioxide; Chloromethyl methyl ether; Diborane; Dimethyl formamide; Furan; Hydrogen sulfide; Methanol; Methyl ethyl ketone; Methyl nonafluorobutyl ether/Methyl nonafluoroisobutyl ether; Monochloro acetic acid; Nerve Agent VX; Nerve Agents GA, GB, GD, GF; Perchloromethyl mercaptan; Phenol; Phosgene; Tetrachloroethylene; Tetranitromethane; Toluene; Vinyl acetate monomer; and Xylenes.
