Acute Exposure Guideline Levels (AEGLs) Committee Meeting December 3-5, 2001

A meeting of the National Advisory Committee for Acute Exposure Guideline Levels for Hazardous Substances (NAC/AEGL Committee) was held on December 3-5, 2001, in San Antonio, TX. At this meeting, the NAC/AEGL Committee addressed various aspects of the acute toxicity and the development of Acute Exposure Guideline Levels (AEGLs) for the following chemicals: Acrylic acid, benzene, ethyleneimene, JP 8 jet fuel, methanol, methyl ethyl ketone, perchloromethyl mercaptan, propyleneimine, trichloroethylene, and xylene. In addition, 10 minute AEGL values were addressed for the following chemicals:  dimethyl hydrazine, hyrdrazine, and methyl hydrazine.
