From Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City to Ada Facility

To leave the airport, you will be proceeding North on Meridian. Exit East onto Airport Road and proceed to Interstate 44 West. Proceed in the middle lane, on Interstate 44 West since the right lane will exit as Interstate 44 to Lawton and the middle lane becomes Interstate 240 East. (You do not want to go to Lawton!) This exit comes up quickly, once you are on Interstate 44.

Continue on Interstate 240 East to the junction with Interstate 35 to Dallas. Exit Interstate 240 to Interstate 35 South, as if going to Dallas.

Proceed South on Interstate 35 approximately 36 miles to Exit 86, which is the Wayne and Payne exit for Highway 59A. Exit to the right. Turn left at the STOP sign and proceed East on Highway 59A. Highway 59A will merge with Highway 3W approximately 28 miles from Interstate 35. Proceed on Highway 3W to Ada. Highway 3W is oriented in a Southeasterly direction, and eventually comes into Ada on the West side.

Highway 3W will merge with Highway 19 one mile West of Ada, and approximately 11 miles from the junction with Highway 59A. Proceed on Highway 19/3W toward Ada.

To reach the Laboratory, exit right at the Roff/Coalgate Exit (1 West/3 East). This places you on the J.A. Richardson Bypass ("the Loop"), bypassing Ada on the South side of town. Proceed on the Loop approximately 3 miles to the Kerr Lab Road Exit, and exit to the right. Turn left at the first STOP sign, and right at the next STOP sign. This places you on Kerr Lab Road. Proceed on Kerr Lab Road approximately one mile, and turn left at the signs for the "R.S. Kerr Research Center." The Laboratory will be the first building on your right.

NOTE: The approximate distance from the Airport to the Laboratory is 90 miles. It will take about one hour and 45 minutes of driving time at the posted speed limits.

From Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to Ada Facility

Proceed North out of the Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport on Highway 121. Highway 121 will turn in a northeasterly direction approximately 3 miles from the north parking toll booth.

Continue on Highway 121 to the junction with Interstate 35E, and proceed North on Interstate 35E.

Proceed North on Interstate 35E/35 past the Oklahoma state line to the Pauls Valley exit (Exit 72).

Exit Interstate 35 at Pauls Valley (Highway 19) and proceed East to Ada.

Highway 19 will merge with Highway 3W one mile West of Ada, and approximately 33 miles East of Interstate 35.

NOTE: The approximate distance from the Airport to the Laboratory is 160 miles. It will take about three hours of driving time at the posted speed limits.
