Kevin S. Minoli

Kevin S. Minoli is the Principal Deputy General Counsel for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In that role he has the responsibility for managing the operations of the Office of General Counsel (OGC). He first came to EPA as a summer law clerk during law school, and joined the agency full time in 2000. He has focused on a wide range of legal areas while at EPA, from the registration of pesticides, to the protection of clean water, to the management of the ever-increasing volume of electronically stored information.

In both his current and previous roles, Kevin has served as a leader and champion of OGC’s workforce diversity and inclusion efforts. He has served as part of the office’s Diversity Dialogue Group, recruited and supported the office’s first-ever Special Emphasis Program Manager for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender employees, and was a part of a team that was awarded the Suzanne E. Olive Award for Exemplary Leadership in National Equal Employment Opportunity.

Kevin is a native of the “Granite Capital of the World,” Barre, Vermont. He earned a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in History and Environmental Studies from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts, and graduated cum laude from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College, in Portland, Oregon in 2000, where he earned his Natural Resources Law Certificate.
