Eric E. Wachter

Eric WachterEric E. Wachter serves as the director of the Office of the Executive Secretariat in the Office of the Administrator where he leads teams that process the correspondence, federal records and Freedom of Information Act requests for the Administrator and the Deputy Administrator and manage the agency’s paperless correspondence management system.

Previously, he worked as a confidential assistant to former Administrator Lisa P. Jackson, as an energy-and-environment team member on the Obama-Biden Transition Project and in a number of roles with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.

Eric earned a master’s degree in nonprofit administration and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Notre Dame.
