Kevin S. Minoli is EPA's Acting General Counsel.  He first came to EPA as a summer law clerk during law school, and joined the agency full time in 2000. He has focused on a wide range of legal areas while at EPA, from the registration of pesticides, to the protection of clean water, to the management of the ever-increasing volume of electronically stored information.

In both his current and previous roles, Kevin has served as a leader and champion of OGC’s workforce diversity and inclusion efforts. He has served as part of the office’s Diversity Dialogue Group, recruited and supported the office’s first-ever Special Emphasis Program Manager for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender employees, and was a part of a team that was awarded the Suzanne E. Olive Award for Exemplary Leadership in National Equal Employment Opportunity.

Kevin is a native of the “Granite Capital of the World,” Barre, Vermont. He earned a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in History and Environmental Studies from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts, and graduated cum laude from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College, in Portland, Oregon in 2000, where he earned his Natural Resources Law Certificate.
